However, we will support your application for Advanced Clinical Training (ACT) and that allow you to do clinical training once you are granted an ACT permit. Please note that the application procedure by the Japanese government (Ministry of Health, Labor and Welfare) usually takes a couple of months and the application process can only be initiated after your arrival. For these reasons, it may not be granted during your stay.
Documents required for Advanced Clinical Training application are listed separately.

Applicants should fill in the form on the PC, and then print out the completed form on A4-size sheets, or alternatively print out the blank application form, and then type entries on the form. Whichever method is employed the application form must be signed by hand by the applicant, and send by postal or courier service to his/her national or regional gastroenterological society which should then endorse and forward the application to the JSGE.
  • An applicant who has a plan to attend conferences out of Japan during the training period or for some reason is unable to complete the full training period should indicate so on the application form.
